I had a startling revelation this week. As a Master Key Master Mind (MKMMA) participant I have trusted the process over the last 17 weeks and have developed the disciplines / habits listed below. The revelation was when we were shown the Shawn Achor TEDX Bloomington video – “The Happiness Advantage: Linking Positive Brains to Performance”. This not only served to confirm the process, but was proof that we were on the right road and was an encouragement to me to continue with my Hero’s Journey.

In Shawn Achor’s TEDX Bloomington talk, he states that happy people are 37% more effective. What an amazing revelation. He goes on to say that “to create lasting positive change” the following 5 habits need to be developed;

  • 3 gratitudes
  • Journaling
  • Exercise
  • Meditation
  • Random Acts of Kindness(write one kindness email/s a day when open email to your community or support group)

Shawn Achor concludes that Small Changes Ripple Outward. So what ripples have you and I created today with our random act of kindness or our 3 gratitudes?

Mark concluded that as a further extension to our way of happiness we need to:

  • Keep our hearts free from hate (live in forgiveness)
  • Keep our minds free from worry / fearhd_crummock-ripples_mt
  • Live simply
  • Expect little
  • Give much
  • Fill our lives with love

What I now see is that as I go about creating a lasting positive change in my life it is and will be creating a ripple effect on the world around me. This is just amazing. Thanks.
